Victoria and Jonathan bonded over their shared love of Disney on their first date, and this story could have been produced by dear Walt himself! They got engaged on November 30th, 2019. What can you tell us about the proposal?
“We were watching a movie and Jonathan couldn’t wait any longer, in the middle of the movie he asked me to sit up.
He took the ring off my hand and used it for an engagement ring. My ring he ordered was not in yet. He said this ring will have to do. It was perfect!!”
How did you meet? What was your first date like?
“We started talking on August 25th. We started planning our first date for September 2nd.
We both love Disney, so we went and saw the new ‘Lion King’ and went to lunch. It was perfect. We hit it off from the beginning.”
Describe the moment you knew it was true love!
Victoria says: “By our third date. We got stuck in the rain. Made a lot of laughs and great memories. We were both soaked but we didn’t care.”
Jonathan says: “I knew on the first date that something was different about her. I don’t know exactly when I knew it was meant to be, but it didn’t take very long to get confirmations.”
What advice would you give other Christian Mingle members, who are still looking for love?
Victoria says: “It’s all in God’s timing. Trust that God will bring the person He has created for you to you when you’re ready. Don’t rush and don’t settle.”
Jonathan says: “Don’t give up. It will happen when you least expect, and it will fall into place. Stay faithful to God regardless of how long it takes!”
