How did you meet? What was your first date like?

On December 9th, 2017, I saw his smile for the first time in a picture online and couldn’t help but reach out and say hi. What started as some chatting about the Buffalo Bills’ “snowmageddon” game turned into hours and hours of FaceTime calls as we began to get to know each other over the distance from Atlanta to Buffalo.
“I’m telling you, I am going to marry this man!”
Just a week after I first stumbled on that heart-melting smile, I was coming home for the holidays and we made plans to meet in person. I remember texting a friend the night before our first date… “I’m telling you, I am going to marry this man!”
How Josh sees it:
First thing in the morning on December 10th, I checked my notifications. Never did I imagine losing myself in those eyes so quickly. What did I do that she would reach out to me!?

She wasn’t just a pretty smile, but someone I knew I could go the distance with. And just a few months in, over a Denny’s Grand Slamwich, I knew. She was the girl I wanted to spend the rest of my life with.
