How did you meet? What was your first date like? Give us all the details!
We met on Christian Mingle, wrote back and forth a few times, talked on the phone many times before we met in person. The first date we agreed to meet at a diner for lunch, it was awkward at first but we decided to go out a few days later and slowly developed a friendship by chatting on walks and at the beach. I told him that I wanted to be courted and he agreed, that means “waiting” until marriage.
He asked me to marry him on December 26, 2017, a little over 3 months after we met on Christian Mingle. We went to our Pastor and met weekly to have preparation for marriage and got a workbook to explore Christian topics. We listened to the Love & Respect CD’s which we highly recommend!
Our wedding day was beautiful with bible believing scriptural vows and ceremony amongst family & friends. We’ve been married a little over 2 months and are very happy living our lives for Jesus and each other. Thanks Christian Mingle!
Describe the moment you knew it was true love!
We let God decide for us but our first kiss was a indicator that we felt good together and also that we had a comfortable feeling being both introverts and quiet peaceful personalities.
What advice would you give other Christian Mingle members?
Court, wait, give it to God, be willing to submit, forgive easily, work on patience and trust in the LORD.
