Jen and Curtis got married on August 8th, 2015, with a lovely small wedding at their church, decorated with flowers picked from their friends’ gardens. Christian Mingle is so pleased to have played a role in their love story and wishes them all the best for a future of continued happiness together!
What can you tell us about the wedding?
“It was a lunch hour wedding – we got married in the atrium of our church. It was a small wedding of 95 guests, and we had a nice tent outdoors with appetizers and a string quartet playing modern music while we took photos.
The lunch was a full pizza/Italian lunch buffet and we had frozen yogurt for dessert from a place Curt took me on our third date. We had a cake as well, and did all of the decorating ourselves with flowers from our friends’ gardens and a few rentals. It was a beautiful day that went by wayyy too quickly.”
How did you meet? What was your first date like?
“We met after three weeks of emailing back and forth over Christian Mingle. We were supposed to go ice skating in Victoria Park in London, but I was sore from painting my new apartment. We ended up going for tea at a local coffee shop and chatting for four hours.”
Describe the moment you knew it was true love!
“I knew it was true love when I met his family for the first time. Everyone welcomed me, and I felt like I fit in so well. That was about six weeks in, and the evening of our first kiss!”
What advice would you give other Christian Mingle members, who are still looking for love?
“That to trust God, and hold out for His best!!”
