Jacqueline and Neil recently celebrated their four year wedding anniversary! They were married on December 8th, 2015. Christian Mingle is so pleased to have played a role in their love story and wishes them every joy for their future together.
What can you tell us about the wedding?
“We got married on a beautiful day at New York City Hall with the presence of both our parents and family members. Four months later (in Spring time), we had a second wedding celebration with our family, relatives, and friends. It was awesome!”
How did you meet? What was your first date like?
“I message my husband first when I saw his beautiful green eyes on Christian Mingle. I asked him if he would like to meet up in person. (Note: I was raised in a very conservative Asian family where a man always makes the first move.) This was a big step of Faith for me.
We both agreed to meet at Bryant Park in Manhattan. It was a nice Sunday afternoon in May. We talked about a lot of things like our family, work, hobbies, goals, vacations, etc. Then the next week, we met again at the park, and so the third week. We also stroll and took a walk in Manhattan.
After one month, my husband invited me for a dinner cruise in NYC. It was our official first date and it was amazing.”
Describe the moment you knew it was true love!
“The first time we met in person at Bryant Park NYC, I felt comfortable and safe with him. One month later, he asked me on a dinner date cruise with him. We got to know each other more and we had our first kiss that night. It was spectacular. I felt loved and special.”
What advice would you give other Christian Mingle members, who are still looking for love?
“Give Christian Mingle a try and keep on praying for God’s perfect will. God answers prayer!”
