What can you tell us about the proposal?
“Daniel asked me to specify what type of proposal I would want, and he did it! He gathered friends and family at The Pearl Brewery in San Antonio, Texas and surprised me! After a long but heartfelt speech, Daniel popped the question and I said YES!”
How did you meet? What was your first date like?
“We first met online on Christian Mingle. After chatting for a few weeks, Daniel finally convinced me to meet in person over coffee. Our first date was at a Starbucks and neither of us knew that we would sit and talk for over 3 hours. We made an instant connection through our faith and love for Jesus and decided to try for a second date.”
Describe the moment you knew it was true love!
“Before leaving our first date, Daniel asked, “Can I pray for you?” I of course said yes! We held hands outside of Starbucks and he prayed for me and my upcoming school events. I remember thanking him and sitting in my car thinking “Wow! This guy is something else!” (in a great way). I just knew at that moment that he was a keeper! By the third date, he asked me to be his girlfriend! I began to attend church with him every Sunday and a small group with his church friends to dig deeper into the Bible! And now we are here! Engaged and blessed that God has brought us together for His good and His purpose! We are excited to marry in November 2020!”
What advice would you give other Christian Mingle members, who are still looking for love?
“Start praying for your future spouse now! Trust in God’s plan for you and know that God’s timing is perfect! Find someone who loves God more than you! (And you love God more than them!) Because when God is in your marriage, you have built a strong foundation!”
