What can you tell us about the wedding?
“We wanted a small, private ceremony on the beach in Hawaii where Erick was stationed in the Air Force. We read our vows to each other in front of our pastor while the sun was setting and the waves crashed on the shore.”
How did you meet? What was your first date like?
“Erick was in military training about an hour away and came to where I was working at the time. We had our first date on Friday afternoon in downtown Tuscaloosa, Alabama. We ate fajitas at a Mexican restaurant downtown and then went to the riverside and had ice cream and danced under the stars.”
Describe the moment you knew it was true love!
“God brought us both out of very difficult marriages. We had talked a good bit before we actually met and after our first date we knew we wanted to be with each other. We shared the same beliefs. We both had a love for Christ and wanted His peace in our relationship.”
What advice would you give other Christian Mingle members, who are still looking for love?
“Fervently pray and put God first. In His time He will send the right one. A love like you never knew existed is out there!”
