Carolyn and Zach first met for bowling and burgers and spent their evening talking, laughing and connecting. Zach knew in that moment that God had answered his prayers and found his future wife. What can you tell us about the wedding?
“Guests and vendors referred to us as “the happiest Bride & Groom” they’ve ever seen. God brought us together, and we are overjoyed!! Our wedding took place last Saturday. One of our favorite moments was when the Pastor joined hands with us and just talked to us about how God brought us together as man and wife. Marriage is holy, and God is with us. What a beautiful moment that our friends and family witnessed. The fall theme played a role with our outdoor reception featuring a kettle corn popcorn, a caramel apple bar, and a coffee bar. The cake was a nod to our engagement spot with our initials carved in the tree.”
How did you meet? What was your first date like?
“Our first date was bowling and burgers. We had so much fun, but also had deep conversations about the future and our values. A hopeful excitement began to grow! We had both healed from past relationships knowing that God’s best is always right in His timing. After the first date, Zach knew God had answered his prayers for his future wife!”
Describe the moment you knew it was true love!
“For Zach, it was when Carolyn showed her desire to truly understand him, his love of culture, his past, his present, and his future desires. For Carolyn, it was when they would listen to worship together while on drives even if just running simple errands. On our wedding day, we just drove around town with worship music on, praising God for His goodness in bringing us together!!”
What advice would you give other Christian Mingle members, who are still looking for love?
“Never give up on true love. The right one is worth the wait. God will restore your broken heart and bring you someone who will love you better than you ever expected!! In the meantime, prepare yourself, finances, and heart for a blessing! It sounds cheesy, but it’s true.”
