What can you tell us about the wedding?
“We decided to get married in the Court House with close family and friends.”
How did you meet? What was your first date like?
“We met through the Christian Mingle website. Our first date was not like the typical “Love at first sight” type of date. Scott was so handsome shy but very cool and I was pretty nervous and cautious. We had dinner at the Rockwood Fire Pizza in Bothell Washington. My best friend’s son was the our waiter and kept a close eye on us that evening.”
Describe the moment you knew it was true love!
“For me I knew about the 2nd month into our relationship, Scott would drive up to Seattle every weekend to see me and one night after he left I remember missing him so much, I wanted to call him up and ask him to come back but, he needed to get back to Vancouver for work the next day so I didn’t. It was that moment when I knew I never wanted him to leave me again.
Scott said he knew I was the one after about our 3rd date. This is the second marriage for the both of us. Scott said he had just about given up dating and surrendered to God and said if it was his will for him to be alone so be it. The day I had sent Scott a hello on the website was the last month of Scott’s membership to your website and he wasn’t planning our renewing it. It is a lesson for us both as we told ourselves “Everything happens in God’s time not ours”.”
What advice would you give other Christian Mingle members, who are still looking for love?
“God’s plan will unfold beautifully in it’s time.”
