What can you tell us about the wedding?
“We had a perfect day amidst all the chaos of Covid-19! God orchestrated all the details. We were married in a meadow under what we call “Covenant Tree”. It was a perfectly meaningful ceremony with live music, sunflowers, and rustic-whimsy.”
How did you meet? What was your first date like?
“About 2 weeks after we met on Christian Mingle, I laid eyes on him holding a sweet bouquet of yellow and pink flowers.
We shared a rainy evening of Mediterranean food and a long chat in the car.”
Describe the moment you knew it was true love!
“I knew right away that I could trust him. And quickly I realized I could be truly myself around him, and I’m goofy!
Each visit and each moment built upon the other; I let the Lord show me Kenny’s genuineness and essentially “prove” himself to me (versus me trying too hard to gain attention and acceptance). Eventually I just knew it was permanent.”
What advice would you give other Christian Mingle members, who are still looking for love?
“Know yourself and your identity in Christ first. Always give God the #1 spot. You have to know what you want in life and what kind of life you want to build. Then, be fully transparent with each other. Put things right on the table, especially if you are older and have more of that “baggage”.”
